Back in June I went for a quick little visit to my Momma's house..and yes, I am 26 and still call my Mom...Mommy and Momma. She is so dang creative and crafty it can become a little nauseating at times. She can seriously do everything. Sewing. Cake Decorating. Floral Arranging. Cooking. Baking....and on and on...
Back in June she was in full fledged quilting mode...let's take a look.
Shelves full of fabric, all color coordinated!
Random projects everywhere.
My Grandma bought this Featherweight Singer in 1958 for $80, this was A LOT of money for her back them..they lived in a trailer park. She paid $5 a month until it was all paid off. My mom remembers learning how to sew on this machine and now she uses it all the time. I absolutely adore this little Singer.
Project...
After Project...
After Project...
After...you get the idea...

If you every come to stay at my Mom's...which she would love to have you by the way, there will ALWAYS be fresh flowers in the bathroom. Like I said, nauseating.
Stormy loved Grammy's house too.

oh my god I love your mom, so how do we commission her for one of those beauitful blankets for the un-talented mommies who are willing to pay her for her creativity and martha"ing"? Love ya and don't even say you aren't a Martha in the making...look at your beautiful home! PS- thank you for your wonderful program giving our library all those new nutrition books- you are amazing
I hate to break it to you Emily....but you have the "gene" too!!! Isn't it nice to have a wonderful mother...who makes everything special and who you LOVE going "home" to? That's the way I feel about my momma too!
